Bernard Salt “Demography explains about two thirds of everything”
- David Foot

Bernard Salt first established his reputation as a trend forecaster for the property and financial services industries.  At KPMG in Melbourne, he heads a group of consultants providing quantitative demographic advice to business. In 2007 he authored and released a global study of Generation Y for KPMG, entitled Beyond the Baby Boomers, which explored the cultural differences between each generation in Australia and the consequence for business over the next 20 years. His work has attracted positive media attention and commentary around the world, including in the Financial Times, the Economist magazine and most recently in Costa Rica’s El Financiero.

In his most recent best-selling work The Big Picture, Bernard Salt tackles the big demographic questions facing Australia and interprets the factors that have a bearing on where we live, and how we work.  He looks at how work, life and relationships are changing in the developed world, comparing the Australian experience with the trends in other developed countries. In his other best seller, The Big Shift, he charts the social changes over the past 200 years that have shaped Australia, making it the country it is today.

Jeffrey Pfeffer, Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University and co-author of twelve books, has spent much of his research career identifying and teaching evidence-based management. Attend this seminar to gain insights on management best practice and find out how you can reap the benefits for your organisation, your team and your career.
