Nationally Recognised Training logo AIM offers 15 nationally recognised management qualifications. Individuals can formalise their learning by undertaking assessment and achieving management qualifications. They can choose the type of qualification that is appropriate to their career goals. Qualifications provide participants with a range of benefits.

  • Knowledge and skills that are immediately relevant to their workplace.
  • Programs are recognised Nationally. Qualifications are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
  • Pathways to further study at Masters level. Through credit transfer arrangements, a number of these qualifications have been recognised by universities and business schools as a pathway into their own qualifications.
  • Are suitable for all levels of an organisation - from the new supervisor to the experienced manager.

Employability Skills as part of your Qualification

Employability Skills are skills that apply across a variety of jobs and life contexts. They are sometimes referred to as key skills, core skills, life skills, essential skills, key competencies, necessary skills, and transferable skills. Industry's preferred term is Employability Skills.

Employability Skills are defined as "skills required not only to gain employment, but also to progress within an enterprise so as to achieve one's potential and contribute successfully to enterprise strategic directions".

There are eight Employability Skills: communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative and enterprise, planning and organising, self-management, learning, and technology.
